Something nice and very unexpected happened at work tonight.

I was running late, since I had to leave -right- at 9 (the doors locked then, no chance of staying late to finish) and there was/is a freaking blizzard going on outside.

About half an hour before close, a couple came up to the counter and ordered a combined 14 -pounds- of salad. While I was getting it for them, we were making small talk. It came up that I was going to walk home, and...

Yep. A couple of total strangers offered to wait half an hour and drive me home. :)
