I've never been to the Pittock Mansion. I had no idea about the food pod or the Green Dinosaur, although of course I know where the Portland Building is.
Same thing with Voodoo Doughnuts. I left Portland in '97. Was it around then?
Several seasons ago, the TAR finale city was Seattle. I think I've been to all the spots they visited now. At least one of them (Lincoln Park) I made a special trip after watching the episode. Others I visit regularly (Kerry Park, International Fountain) or occasionally (Gas Works Park).
Seattle is also not a city where you want to try to flag down a taxi, although are certain areas where it may be possible. They only have about 670 cab licenses!
