Miller is a fantastic writer of comics (and not a bad artist), but I think his ego has gotten the best of him.

He really shouldn't be directing movies at all. Srsly.
I liked parts of Sin City -- the more complex parts and storylines showed depth of character and plot. And even his comic version of Robocop was excellent. But he just doesn't get film at all.
