I feel like corbett's cutting off his nose to spite his face, really. give me a long-term plan, not a one-year plan. in ten years, a balanced budget

in 2011/2012 will matter much less than
1) population even more aging than now as youth flees state in search of inexpensive education and does not return.
2) even less adults going back to school than now (PA ranks 49th in the country in this) leading to a small labor pool that makes us even less able to attract new employers to the state.
3) overcrowded prisons and detention centers as social services are cut, making early intervention possible.
I am willing to take a hit now if it can be shown that later, we will win. corbett just wants to win now,and for the rich to emerge from the year unscathed.

Government ownership of liquor distribution is a Prohibition legacy that should have ended decades ago.
