where are you located? and you have to be careful about lists and questionaires

The SF corgi rescue group had me fill out a questionnaire and I indicated that I would take a corgi-mix. Some blue hair had decided that anybody who would settle for less than a full corgi shouldn't have one, and I was skipped over for years.
It wasn't until I adopted a high profile rescue case in southern california that I became the go to guy for problem corgis.
