In response to your question last board, I would suspend him a few games just for being reckless and endangering the other player.

Doesn't mean he meant to do it. Doesn't mean he doesn't feel bad about it. Just means he did it and needs to accept serious consequences.

You hit somebody with your car and kill them, if it's determined you were reckless, you still go to jail.
