Sheen files suit against WB, Lorre
Actor sues for $100 mil plus punitive damages
By Jon Weisman
Charlie Sheen has filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. for $100 million plus punitive damages over the suspension of production on "Two and a Half Men," his termination and loss of wages.
Warner Bros. had no initial comment. TMZ first reported the news.

The lawsuit says that Sheen is "also pursuing claims for the benefit of the entire cast and crew to get paid for the balance of the season's 24 episodes."

The fiery lingo that has defined Sheen's ongoing media campaign against Lorre and the studio is present in the opening statement of the suit.

"Defendant Chuck Lorre, one of the richest men in television," it reads, "believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew ... in order to serve his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the scapegoat for Lorre's own conduct."
