Where are my manners? I *completely* forgot to update you all on the status on this year's World Figure Skating Championships.

They are scheduled to begin on Monday in Tokyo. The International Skating Union is waiting for a response from Japanese organizers as the ISU needs to know whether they'll be able to hold the event or not.
Currently the Japanese are being tight-lipped and the ISU is considering other options.
