One is money in, the other is money out. Though I'm of the opinion that if PBS and NPR are valued by their listeners, then they can survive as

The aspect that pisses me off about the GOP wanting to strip funds is that a radio station that gets federal funds wouldn't be allowed to buy NPR programming even if it made economic sense to do so.
In short, the GOP solution is just like many of their other solutions: mean and spiteful
