groiny makes short jokes, mel makes fat jokes. what crossed the line, I think we all agree, was the addition of 'failure.' I give mel some leeway here because I don't think he meant to equate failure with groiny's unemployment woes. in fact, if mel genuinely thought of groiny as a failure, I doubt he would have made the joke (just like I would never make a fat ass joke to amanda if I thought she actually had a fat ass). he's been posting here a long, long time and he's simply not a malicious dude.

the reposting was probably unnecessary, but it's not like groiny hasn't been known to rub salt in the wound (literally for *years*) when he's been told he crossed a line.
