Years ago I told my family: Don't ever try to set me up, or it is guaranteed to fail. they know me well enough that it was the end of that crap. :)

My family cannot possibly, by definition, pick anyone I would actually like. I'd trust my sister, but that's it.
My friends are welcome to try, but so far they have been so wrong, it's comical.
